Mayra Mateus, known as Mateus Art, is a prominent contemporary pop artist born in Cali, Colombia. Her passion for art was ignited in 2016 while working at a local pizzeria in Miami, where she is currently creatively based. Through training at Miami Dade College and immersion in Miami's vibrant art world, Mateus found her calling in pop art and street art, which led her to embark on a process of deep and constant artistic training.
